2. When his wife found him hanging from a plastic cord, police rushed Zwillman's personal physician, Dr. Arthur Bernstein, to the West Orange basement to pronounce him dead. The doctor had earlier been treating Zwillman for a heart problem and high blood pressure.

Bernstein outlived his Zwillman by 45 years and 3 days. He died Sunday, February 29, 2004 at the Winchester Gardens Retirement Community in Maplewood at age 94.
