1. Dr. Isaac Unterman had studied for the rabbinate with his cousin, Rabbi Isser Yehuda Unterman, who was the second Chief Rabbi of the State of Israel. Both had a common ancestor, Rabbi Shaul Wahl Katzenellenbogen, who, according to legend, was made King of Poland for one day, early in the 17th century.
