1. It was later revealed in a 1986 book that the legendary stripper, Georgia Sothern, had started at the age of 12, and was already a headliner at the Trocadero in Philadelphia at the age of 13. She had been signing performance contracts using forged birth certificates which represented that she was much older, prepared by an expert forger.

Insofar as I could learn from my research for this footnote, Georgia Sothern appeared in only one motion picture film. She was a stripper in a comic scene in the 1952 film "Striporama."

TV Guide rated the film 3 stars out of a possible five. The writer of the film was Newark native Allan Bodian, a Central High School graduate, and my younger brother.
