5. Apparently three other fledgling Newark radio stations did give up their broadcast licenses in 1923. They were listed in directories of stations up to that year and then not heard from again. They were WRAP listed as "Radio Shop of Newark" with Herman Lubinsky as owner; also WBS at 833 frequency owned by W. May., and WAAM, owned by I. R. Nelson and located on Bond Street, Newark. | |
